Our lives have continued to stay busy while keeping up with the little man. He keeps us on our toes for sure. And he's not even walking yet... I'm sure once that happens we're really going to be much busier.
Isaac has continued to grow like a weed. He is moving everywhere and getting into everything he can reach. He started with an army crawl, but quickly moved up to crawling on his knees and pulling himself up onto tables, chairs, beds, you name it. And he's more than happy to just flip himself right over something. He has no fear. I think we're in trouble. If he follows in his daddy's footsteps, we're going to be hitting up the hospital more than we would like.
Although keeping up with a moving baby can be hard, we are in LOVE with everything else new that has come with it. He is such an amazingly happy baby. He is always smiling. Games of peek-a-boo and tickling him almost anywhere on his body will get him giggling every time. His laughs are the best sounds ever.
Having him at school with me has continued to be wonderful. I still love having him just down the hall from me where I can sneak a peek when I walk by to watch him play with his friends. I am so grateful for all the socialization and new experiences he gains from being at school. Unfortunately, with all that baby socialization that goes on, they tend to share many-a-germs too. He had a bad stomach bug (which he kindly shared with Stephen) right before Christmas and has had one ear infection after another from all his colds. All those ear infections actually caused him to have to get tubes earlier this week. Luckily the tubes should help us all get some much needed sleep. His record for nights in a row he slept through the night since he's been born: 2. Yes. No bueno.
We're looking forward to another trip to Nashville at the end of this month. We haven't seen the Perkins clan since early November, so we're going to be doing lots of make-up celebrating of birthdays and holidays. So excited!
Isaac's first yearly Plaza visit with the family. Every year we do a little
shopping and eat at Buca de Beppo. Isaac LOVED the lights!

Loves his walker!
First time in the snow. He wasn't so sure of it.
First time in the big boy bathtub. He hated it the first couple of times, but
now that he's used to it, he's back to loving his baths.
Always drooling!
Just in love with those big smiles!!
