How far along? 34 Weeks
Total weight gain: 19+ lbs.Maternity clothes? Yes. I love that it's warm outside, but my maternity jeans are way too hot now. I've had to pull off quite a few dresses with leggings, skirts and comfy yoga capris. I realized the other day that the skirts (which are not maternity, but have an elastic waistband) are riding a little low and feeling a little tight. Looks like I may not make it without buying a few maternity summer items.
Stretch marks? Nope! Lathering on that cocoa butter twice a day still!
Sleep: It used to be great. I sleep good until I have to get up twice a night (at least) to go to the bathroom. I've had trouble getting back to sleep. The list of things to get done before baby gets here starts rolling through my head.
Best moment this week: Going to Barnes and Noble and reading up on labor/delivery and other baby info with Stephen. I wanted to secretly take a picture of him reading to share how totally adorable I thought this was, but decided 1) it might embarrass him and 2) maybe it was one of those photographic moments to lock in my own mind to remember why I am so in love with him :)
Miss Anything? Being comfortable. Baby B still loves to sit way up high in my belly and kick his feet, hands, bottom or whatever other body part into my ribs. My ab muscles feel like they've had the workout of a lifetime some days. He's quickly taking over my body!
Movement: All. The. Time.
Food cravings: Not sure if it's really a craving, but I must say, Yogurtini has got to be the best tasting frozen yogurt I've ever had. Classic Vanilla topped with strawberries, mini chocolate chips, Oreo crumbles and sprinkles...yes please!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: Had contractions for the second time bright and early this morning at 4:30. The first ones were on Easter. They were just false labor contractions and they were only on my right side, but WOW they hurt! I never have really thought of myself as too much of a baby when it comes to pain, but those contractions don't mess around. Let's just hope they're preparing me for the real thing.
Symptoms: Other than the contractions, I have felt great. I can feel myself wearing out a little quicker by the end of the day, but that's to be expected I guess. Nesting is definitely setting in. The other day I was cleaning up the kitchen and realized I had just spent like 30 minutes cleaning the oven/stove from top to bottom. Don't get me wrong, it looks sparkling clean, but I have no idea what made me decide that it needed to be cleaned right that minute. In all honesty though, the microwave and refrigerator are next on my list...I can't help myself.
Belly Button in or out? I think it's time to admit that it's officially out. :/
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Having weekly appointments and our upcoming ultrasound. I love hearing our baby boy's heart beating good and strong each time we go. Can't wait to finally meet him either! (once I get my long list of nesting things done that is...)
